Maui, HI – Hawaii Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (Hawaii VOAD), in collaboration with Crisis Cleanup, Aloha United Way 211, and community partners across the state, has announced the launch of a free Flood Clean Up Assistance Program for residents impacted by the Hawaii March 2026 flooding event. The program connects affected homeowners with volunteers from relief organizations, community groups, and faith communities to help restore their homes at no cost.

Residents in need of assistance can call 211 to be connected with available volunteers. Services available through the program include removal of mud and debris from inside the home, drywall, flooring, and appliance removal, mold and damage removal, mold mitigation, cutting fallen trees, and cleanup education and information.

All services are provided free of charge. Due to the overwhelming need across the state, service cannot be guaranteed, and residents are encouraged to call 211 as soon as possible to be added to the queue.

The program is available statewide, serving all islands impacted by the March 2026 storm. It is made possible through the coordinated efforts of Hawaii VOAD members and partners, whose shared commitment to cooperation, communication, coordination, and collaboration forms the backbone of Hawaii's disaster response network.

Residents affected by the March 2026 flooding event are encouraged to call 211 to request assistance. Organizations and volunteers interested in supporting cleanup efforts statewide are also encouraged to connect through Hawaii VOAD and Crisis Cleanup.
